Viewing Your Current Wireless Network Settings
Begin by opening an Internet browser (Google Chrome, Firefox, etc.), in the address bar type, 192.168.0.1, and press enter.
On the new screen enter the username and password:
username: admin
password: password
Next, you are presented with the "System Basic Setup" page. Your current WiFi network name is displayed in the "Wireless Network Name (SSID)" field. Your current WiFi network password is displayed in the "Pre-Shared Key" field.
Changing Your WiFi Network Name and Password
To Change WiFi Network Name
In both the Wireless 2.4 GHz and Wireless 5 GHz sections change the "Wireless Network Name (SSID)" field to the new network name. NOTE: Be sure to retain the "-5G" at the end of the Wireless 5GHz SSID field.
To Change WiFi Network Password
In both the Wireless 2.4 GHz and Wireless 5 GHz sections change the "Pre-Shared Key" field to the new network password.
Click "Apply" to save the changes.
IMPORTANT: Once changes to your WiFi network name/password have been made be sure to update your WiFi network name/password in your computer settings.
